This course is designed to help students gain an understanding of statistics and probabilities, exponential and logarithmic functions.
Course content: Equations and inequalities, Properties and proofs, Functions, Factoring polynomials, Rational expressions, Irrational and complex numbers, Quadratic equations and functions, Conic sections, Trigonometric functions and their graphs and identities, Statistics, Matrices and determinants.
Algebra-Two:
This course is designed to emphasize linear functions and nonlinear functions. Quadratic equations and functions are also included. Students who complete Algebra one should take Geometry. Course content: Working with real numbers, Solving equations and inequalities, Polynomials, Factoring polynomials, Systems of equations and inequalities, Rational and irrational numbers, Quadratic equations and functions.
